I am really enjoying Zuhair Murad's designs again for the Spring/Summer collection... below is a collage of my favorites. The whole show/lookbook is available on the FlipZone Web site.

All The Frilly Things: VS Angel Edition
Leading up to the usually sensational annual VS fashion show (more info at http://www.vsallaccess.com/), I am posting my all-time favorite VS fashion show: 2005! I remember watching this over and over in college. DVRs are among the best inventions ever-- right up there with YouTube!
Not crazy about the Ricky Martin performance, but I have never seen a VS show better than this one.

A bit trendy for my usual taste, but I am still drawn to these Delman heels.
Maybe they'll go on 90% sale off after Thanksgiving or let me know if you see a pair of similarly fashionable, but deeply discounted versions :)

Designer Spotlight: Zuhair Murad F/W 09/10
Beautiful Fall/Winter 2009/2010 collection by Beirut-based Lebanese fashion designer Zuhair Murad. Although still relatively new in the scene, he has already dressed the likes of Carrie Underwood, Ivana Trump, Beyonce Knowles, Shakira, Christina Applegate, Vanessa Williams, Miley Cyrus and many more. He also designed miss France's dress ChloƩ Mortaud for Miss Universe 2009 and 5 dresses for the final of Miss France 2010. His lavish creations, in sensational colors and extraordinary fabrics, are reminiscent of Egyptian princesses, Grecian goddesses and pure, glorious splendor, complete with an edgy twist that modernizes his collections just enough. (Information courtesy of Wikipedia).
I am just starting to play with my Picasa program, making videos and collages and such. So, take a look at my 'favorites' slideshow below:
My absolute favorite is the striped black and silver number at about :56. Sequins, big flowers and exquisite tailoring to the curves... I'm all about it!

Target/Anna Sui Gossip Girl-Inspired Fashions

To be quite honest, I am not a huge fan of the line soon to hit Target stores September 13. I think it is rather tacky. But I do love this dress! I will do my best to grab it ASAP!
You can view the rest of Sui's leaked lookbook here.

Coco Before Chanel Trailer
Official film's English-language trailer. For some reason the film release in Hong Kong in June, but not in the states until this September 25.
Thanks to Jenn at {Bits of Beauty} for the heads up.

I Want!
This shade of blush is one of my favorites. So pretty, so girly, so Christian Louboutin, so EXPENSIVE. I must have these. I found a discounted site for Louboutin shoes, but I am quite weary as to the authenticity. I will make a purchase and risk it before I blog the site's link... I will let you all know whether it's a winner or a not. Don't look for the follow-up post anytime too soon though... I am moving, and won't be that rich for a bit!
